About The Race
History
Based upon ideas from the hit CBS television series, The Amazing Race, this event is derived from a successful race that organizers in Loveland, Ohio have staged annually for the last fifteen years. It was replicated in Eustis, FL beginning in 2014 and has continued to grow each year with over 700 racers. We are in debt to the Eustis team for sharing their blueprint and helping us bring this race to Central Louisiana.
Our Race
While the details of the race are usually kept secret until the week before the race, we can tell you that the race will be 3 miles on foot. Along the way, teams of two complete 12 challenge stations that may be as simple as solving a puzzle or reciting Miranda Rights to as difficult as building a 2-person tent or lifting your teammate. The race attracts serious competitors, marathoners, triathletes, adventure racers, and amateurs alike. At the end of the day, racers have learned a little more about the host city, enjoyed an amazing workout, participated as a team, and, in some cases, worked with other teams to complete a challenge, knowing that their wild day has benefited a charity!

In order for our race to be the best it can be, we need YOU! Join us on race day as a most valuable member of the team - a volunteer.

Nonprofit Registration
Nonprofit’s that are interested in being a part of the Amazing Race for Charity must:
- have a 501C3
- serve the central Louisiana area.
Once registered, you will receive a discount code that you share with racers. Teams that register with your code will have 50% of their registration fee designated to your agency.
Your nonprofit must provide 10 volunteers for the day and a captain that will attend the pre-race meetings to ensure success for all.

Frequently Asked Questions
Racers must be 10 years of age or older on the race day to participate.
Our race teams are teams of two (2). No more, no less.
You will receive several emails from us.
In the months before the race, we send out several emails to let you know super important details about the race. If you have given us an email address with your registration that you do not check often, please either give us a different email address, or check that account often. YOU WILL MISS IMPORTANT INFO if you do not get our emails! (We do not spam you or sell your info.)
P.S. The majority of the questions we get in the weeks up till race day were already answered in those emails. If you have registered and not received email from us by the time we are 3 weeks out from the race, please contact us by email or check the Facebook page for updates.
